Straight Versus Curved Stairlifts

Since every home and every person is different so are stairlifts, they are available in straight and curved to suit all stairs.

If your staircase is straight and does not have any corners or bends then you will need a straight stairlift. Alternatively, if your stairs has bends or turns, you will need a curved stairlift. They are custom made, so you are guaranteed a perfect fit for your stairs.

Measuring Your Stairs

Your stairs will be measured by one of our qualified experts. This will ensure that the stairlift is customised for your stairs and your needs. Here at Beechfield Stairlifts, we use specialised software to accurately survey your stairs and we produce a 3D model of what your new stairlift will look like. This will give you a realistic and accurate picture of how the stairlift will look in your home.

Selecting The Right Track And Seat

There are many different rails to choose from and we are guaranteed to have one to suit your stairs. If you have a narrow staircase, our experts will recommend a very narrow track and a narrow seat. If you have a door near the bottom of the stairs, then a slide track that retracts when the stairlift is not in use would be ideal for your home.

Whatever your requirements are or whatever stairs you have in your home, we will recommend the best solution for you and your stairs.

We also have powered options that make it easier to operate your stairlift by automatically turning the seat when the stairlift reaches the top of the stairs. A powered footplate is also available, which folds up the foot plate when the stairlift is not in use, so the user does not have to bend down. The powered solution may be the answer for people with limited mobility and dexterity.  You can see our full range of stairlifts at www.beechfieldstairlifts.ie

What Can You Use Your Voucher On?

With a wide range of mobility, daily living aids, riser recliners, scooters and walking aids, you are sure to find something useful to spend your gift voucher on.

Why not have a look at our mobility scooters range or a pressure cushion?  A grab rail, shower stool or toilet frame are also useful in the bathroom to avoid falls.

For arthritic hands, there are many products to make everyday tasks easier like the Uccello tilt and pour kettle or a handy grabber.
